An exploration into the word ‘Identity’, looking at my own heritage, Swedish culture, immigration and Scandinavian design. This body of work reflects current attitudes to immigration and the movement of people around the world by utilizing family archives and found material from a range of art and design sources.
The final finished outcome is a series of digital prints on 250gsm Somerset that are purposely left unbound to correlate to the notion of movement and fluidity. The prints collectively sit upright within a box to reflect the idea of a magazine being a place of storage (according to the Arabic roots of the word).
